We are an ambitious start-up podcast network based in Manchester that specialises in unforgettable stories and personalities. Using the best presenters, producers and writers, we create conversations you have to share.
Podcasts become communities when listeners feel they belong. We make ground-breaking audio that makes people feel part of something bigger than themselves.
We are always looking for new talent to join our crowd. We aim to be welcoming, inclusive and collaborative.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced audio producer who wants to join a new and exciting company. From day one, you will be making some of Crowd’s biggest shows and working with high-profile personalities.
The Entertainment Producer will embody the Crowd values of excellence, trailblazing and inclusivity in everything they do.
At Crowd Network there is no typical day. We are a start-up so we have to be prepared for anything but the role will include:
People: Liaising with high-profile presenters, guests and the Crowd team around podcast recordings
Audio: Recording, editing and mixing the highest-quality audio
Ideas: Writing scripts and contributing trailblazing ideas to the Crowd Commission Group
The job might be right for you if…
You are an experienced content creator who can work independently and manage time effectively. You can prioritise your workload and you get stuff done.
You are a people person. You can communicate effectively and are patient, level-headed and cool under pressure.
You are motivated and driven. You’re going to take ownership of your podcasts from concept through to publication.
You have a good knowledge of the podcast industry and thrive in creative environments.
Above all else you have to show us you have the right attitude. In a start-up environment you will have to leave your ego at the door. No problem is too small and no project is too big. You will create standout content and be a trailblazer in the industry.
All our podcasts will be recorded in Manchester and London, and with remote working now the norm, location is less important than it once was. The salary for the role is £35k – £45k, dependent on experience.
To apply, email a CV and covering letter, quoting the reference CNEP20 in the subject line, including a short paragraph detailing three audio projects you have produced to email@example.com. Please include links to this content in your application where possible.
The deadline for applications is close of play on Friday 18th September 2020.
